How to Use a Detox Tea?

The way in which you use a detox tea is really simple. If you buy a ready made detox tea like IASO Tea all you have to do is steep the tea bags in hot water for a few minutes and drink. Some people may put a sweetener such as sugar or honey in it but it’s not required. Usually, in about a week, you will start noticing the benefits.

You can actually make a detox tea at home. It will take longer than store bought detox teas but some people enjoy doing it themselves. A positive to making your detox tea at home is that you can add whatever ingredients you want to it.

Simple Detox Tea Recipe:

5 cups water

4 bags of green tea or black tea (organic)

1/8 cup ginger (peeled and cut up)

1 orange (cut into slices)

1 lemon (cut into slices)

In a teapot add the water and ginger and bring it to a boil. Take the tea pot off the burner then steep the tea bags for 5 – 8 minutes. At this point, you can remove the tea bags. Now let the tea cool off until you can put it into a pitcher. Then add in the orange and lemon slices. Make sure you stir very well to ensure that the ingredients are infused together.
